Ministers Justice Coalition Receives Recognition at the Quarterly Meeting of the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole in Conroe for 18 years of Committed Service to the State of Texas.

CONROE- A group of concerned clergymen from Fort Worth and Houston traveled to Conroe, Texas to receive words of appreciation from the chairman and commissioners of the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole on Friday, October 20, 2017 at the Eagle’s Nest Ministries.

The Ministers Justice Coalition of Texas is a group of concerned ministers committed to helping the previously incarcerated person on parole with the spiritual, social, mental, physical, occupational, environmental, and intellectual needed to take care of themselves, their family and function in society as productive taxpaying citizens in society.

Lead by Dr. R. L. Rogers as president, this body of Believers have their eyes set on building capacity in order provide more direct services and implement a new case management system.

The members of the Coalition who accompanied Dr. Rogers To Conroe were Bishop B.E.

George, Fort Worth, Pastor Ronald Smith, Houston, Rev. K.P. Tatum, Sr., Fort Worth and Superintendent R.C. Williams, Fort Worth.

“The Ministers Justice Coalition’s mission lines up with the Board of Pardons and Parole’s mission to keep citizens safe and help previously incarcerated people on parole succeed in life after incarceration.

Board Chair David G. GutiƩrrez welcomed and commended the ministers for their continued support of Texans served by the Texas Board of Pardons and Parole Dr. Rogers and Bishop George had an opportunity to address the Board.

Leaders with the Coalition are also looking to expand membership across the state to have representatives from every community in Texas serving previously incarcerated people on parole.
